Jeep® Reveals the Grand Wagoneer Concept

Grand Wagoneer Concept | Toronto, ON

Over 60 years ago, Jeep® pioneered the idea of a premium SUV with its revolutionary Wagoneer 4×4. Although the nameplate ran for decades, it eventually was retired as the Jeep® lineup continued to grow in other directions. Now, Jeep® is returning to its roots by revisiting this luxury sport utility vehicle and updating it for modern drivers.

At the beginning of September, Jeep® unveiled the Grand Wagoneer Concept, which exemplifies everything the adventure brand has in store with the revival of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.

As Ralph Gilles, head of design for FCA, explained, “The Grand Wagoneer Concept is inspired by the original, but with a modern interpretation of luxury and freedom. We strived to create an elegant design with a timeless silhouette, featuring countless beautifully crafted details that come together to give it an undeniable presence.”

From its bold, upscale exterior to its sumptuous interior, this large, premium SUV is replete with first-class touches. The Jeep® Grand Wagoneer Concept features everything you’d expect from a contemporary, first-class SUV. It boasts an electric powertrain, a signature grille silhouetted by LED lights, 24-inch wheels with 3D-printed elements, customizable ambient cabin lighting, 3D lacewood inlay throughout, and the all-new Uconnect 5 system — just to name some highlights. It’s truly an impressive work of art and functionality.

We at Downtown Chrysler are thrilled for the return of the prestigious Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. They’ll be arriving at our dealership in 2021 and will be a welcome addition to the other superb SUVs we sell in Toronto, Ontario.
