Meet the 2022 Jeep® Renegade Lineup

The Renegade is the perfect Jeep_® for city dwellers thanks to its unique, urban style and its at-the-ready capability. For 2022, the Renegade arrives with a handful of exciting updates, from new standard safety and tech features to improved performance.

What’s new for 2022?

Every 2022 Jeep_® Renegade will be equipped with a turbocharged 1.3-litre engine that’s paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Together, you can expect to achieve 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. All models also come with 4×4 so you can travel off-road with added peace of mind.

When it comes to safety, new standard features include LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Full-speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, and Blind-spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection systems.

Inside, a beautiful 8.4-inch touch-screen display with GPS navigation is standard. This system includes a one-year SiriusXM® radio subscription, a one-year SiriusXM® Guardian subscription, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability. Rounding out the interior upgrades is the inclusion of a premium cabin air filter on all trims.

Jeep® Reveals Redesigned 2022 Grand Cherokee

The midsize Grand Cherokee SUV has been an iconic part of the Jeep_® lineup since the early ’90s, offering the ideal blend of capability and luxury. Jeep_® recently revealed details regarding the redesigned 2022 Grand Cherokee, making it the most advanced version yet.

New technology

The cabin of the 2022 Grand Cherokee is getting an upgrade in the form of the new Uconnect® 5 infotainment system. This innovative tech comes with an expansive 10.1-inch display with faster operating speeds as well as seamless over-the-air updates. In addition to the standard touch-screen display, an available 10.25-inch front passenger interactive display is a new option for the Grand Cherokee. And in the back, available 10.1-inch rear seat entertainment displays with built-in Amazon Fire TV make long trips even more enjoyable.

More capability

Jeep® vehicles are known for being exceptionally capable. As such, the 2022 Grand Cherokee offers three versatile 4×4 systems for off-roading: Quadra-Trac® I, Quadra-Trac® II, and Quadra-Drive® II. Additional capability comes in the form of the class-exclusive Quadra-Lift™ air suspension, which provides a class-leading 28.7 cm of ground clearance and 61 cm of water fording. Meanwhile, the available 5.7-litre V8 offers an impressive 3,625 kg of towing capability.

First-ever Grand Cherokee 4xe

Like the Wrangler, the Grand Cherokee will be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Jeep_® Grand Cherokee 4xe is estimated to provide 40 km of all-electric range as well as 4.1 Le/100 km. Even with this incredibly efficient powertrain, the Grand Cherokee 4xe still has the capability you’d expect from a Jeep_®. The PHEV is expected to generate 375 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque, and have a max towing capacity of 2,720 kg.
